

We come from different states, work in different areas, and have unique lived experiences, there was seemingly no way in which our paths would cross. However, feeling the pressure of climate change and its impact on our patients and communities, our passion for change led all of us to pursue a degree in Health Innovation and Leadership from the University of Minnesota.​
Each of us began our unique journeys to nursing (being the voice for our patients, our connections to nature and healing) feeling the pressure of climate change in our work and personal lives.

We came together to address the health impacts of radon exposure, specifically targeting MN bill SF. 2345/H. 2463 - Landlord Testing and Disclosure Requirement - Mandated Radon testing and disclosure of results [by landlords] for all rental properties.

Although the targeted bill in MN remains in committee, we are working to raise the issue of radon exposure and testing among nurses and communities around the country - through partnerships and the power of stories.
